Day 60After much discussion with my wife today I decided not to run at midnight tonight. Night and even overnight running is still something I very much want to experience but with a long and potentially messy day ahead of us we both agreed that the unknown variables and potential risk of attempting this for the first time just didn’t make much sense. So, I’ll be running in Olive Branch, MS, post my flight tomorrow, hopefully after some kind of power nap (and a shower).

I would like to say thanks for all of your thoughts on this matter.

Did just twenty minutes today. Felt pretty good. I’ve had so much to do today that I’m just glad I got it done. The weather has been bad - unbelievably humid and we’ve had pretty serious downpours on and off all day. Thankfully, I managed to squeeze my run in between one of the ‘off’ windows.

Splits and chart:

I’m not sure of the Internet situation where I’m going. I’m bringing my laptop but after a huge day getting it all set up might take 24 hours or so, so a new blog post might not be forthcoming until Saturday, or thereabouts.

Until then, have a swell time! :)

Ps. Wow - we’re up to day 60!

Midnight runs aren’t that fun - at least for me. Bon Voyage!
